What is CentrimLife?

CentrimLife is an exciting new program that allows families and friends to receive regular updates on events, lifestyle activities, and resident wellbeing at San Carlo. It also provides additional ways to keep in touch with residents and staff, such as through the feedback and visitor booking modules.

Who can access CentrimLife?

By default, only the resident’s primary contacts (usually their Next of Kin and/or Power of Attorney) are set up with an account to access CentrimLife. They can then choose to invite additional family/friends to set up an account by following these steps:

  1. From the app homepage, scroll down and select the box labelled ‘Resident’.
  2. Select ‘Contacts’.
  3. Select the blue ‘Invite Family / Friends’ button.
  4. Enter the person’s name, relation to the resident, and contact details.
  5. Select the ‘Send Invitation’ button

Once invited, the person should receive an email asking them to finish setting up their account.

Booking Visits on Centrim

Once you have access to the app, you can book in a visit to see the resident using these steps:

  1. From the home page of the app, scroll down and select the ‘Services’ button
  2. Select ‘Book visit’
  3. Select the red ‘Create booking’ button
  4. Select ‘Person visit’
  5. Add/select the names of any visitors who will be coming with you (Note: Your name will be included in the booking by default, but it won’t show up on the list. You do not need to enter your name again)
  6. Select ‘Continue’
  7. Select a date and time from the calendar. (Note: There are limits on the number of people who can book for each time slow, so some times may be unavailable).
  8. On the next page, confirm your booking details. You can also add any necessary comments for office staff to review (optional)
  9. Select ‘Confirm’.
  10. You should now be able to view and adjust your booking on the app calendar

Other Frequently Asked Questions

Can I send messages to staff through the app?

Although the messaging feature is active on the app, staff are not always able to check these messages in a timely manner. For the time being, we ask that you continue to direct communications to reception via phone call (03 9404 1490) or email (sancarlo@sancarlo.com.au).

Can everyone see updates about my loved one?

Only those who are assigned as contacts for the resident can see their updates (such as  activities the resident has participated in recently). We ask that Primary Contacts consider this and only invite those who they are happy to share these details with.

Photos that are featured in public posts on the CentrimLife app (such as announcements or stories) are viewable by those with log-in access to the app. The resident or their authorised representative can request that photos featuring the resident are not included in these posts.
